Barmer News: The ruckus is increasing after the murder of a Dalit youth in Balotra, Barmer. In protest against the incident, the Dalit community has called for a Balotra bandh, due to which the markets are completely closed.

A youth named Vishna Ram Meghwal was murdered three days ago, when he went to Nehru Colony to remove the light decoration. There he had a dispute with Harshdan Charan over parking the vehicle on the way, after which Harshdan stabbed Vishna Ram and seriously injured him.

Vishna Ram was taken to Jodhpur for treatment, but he died on the way. The family members of the deceased and the people of the society have refused to take the body demanding compensation and arrest of the accused. Balotra Superintendent of Police Kundan Kanwaria says that different police teams have been sent to arrest the accused. Raids are being conducted at his possible hideouts and suspects are being questioned. The accused will be arrested soon.
