Ayodhya: The road leading to the houses of Dalit communities is unpaved
The village panchayat Pakarela of Maya block of Ayodhya district has a population of about 1600, and the road here is bad for about one and a half kilometers. Most of them belong to the Dalit community. This village has been connected by a mud road for about 100 years.
The children of the village are forced to go to school through this unpaved road, especially during the rainy season when this road becomes slippery and dangerous. Many times during the rains, children fall and get injured, and people coming and going on bikes etc. have also had accidents. Some people have also suffered minor injuries.
There is a railway crossing on the other side of the village, but there is no special facility to travel from there either. The people of the village have been facing this problem for a long time and are demanding a paved road so that their lives can become a little easier.
