Attempt to commit brutality with minor Dalit girl on Rakshabandhan, case registered under POCSO Act

Bhilwara News: In Rajasthan’s Mandal police station area, an attempt was made to gangrape a minor Dalit sister by two youths of her own village on the eve of Rakshabandhan. Before Raksha Bandhan festival, wishing for her brother’s long life, the minor girl was making mehndi sitting with her family.
When the mehndi cone was over, the minor girl was returning from the grocery store far away from home with a cone when two youths named Bablu and Ashish forcibly caught her and took her to a courtyard and molested her and tried to rape her. Meanwhile, a villager called her parents, due to which the brother and father reached the spot and saved the minor girl from being gangraped.
As the girl belonged to the Dalit community, BSP district president Ramesh Rana along with his supporters reached Mandal police station and demanded justice for the minor. On the other hand, Deputy Megha Goyal has started proceedings by registering a case under the POCSO Act as the case involved SC/ST community and a minor girl.
A sensational case has come to light from Vijaypur village of Kasoria Gram Panchayat of Baneda subdivision area of ??Shahpura. The case is related to two brothers. When the people of the younger brother’s wife’s maternal side beat up the elder brother’s wife while she was taking a bath in the bathroom in a naked state. They also called her a witch. The attackers included three men and a woman. The woman’s body was badly bruised. The woman’s eye popped out. A neighbor made a video of the woman while trying to save her.
The attackers also tried to beat up the person who made the video. The above incident took place in a family of Gusai community. It was told that there was a fight between the sister-in-law and the elder sister-in-law over some issue. So the sister-in-law told her family members of her maternal home Khamor about this. After which three people including a woman from Devrani’s family entered the house in broad daylight and beat her sister-in-law with sticks and shoes.
It is being told that if the video was not made, the woman could have lost her life. When the woman was beaten up, she was taking a bath and was naked. The accused threatened not to make the video viral and not to tell the police about the matter. During this time, the people of the village also did not come to defend the woman. However, after the incident, there was a huge crowd at the spot. After that, the Rayala police reached there. Rayala police has admitted the woman to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Bhilwara for treatment. At present, the police team has started investigating the matter.
