Anger among Dalits over the assault on Dalit councillors: Protest was expressed by burning the effigy of the Minister of State, BJP members were accused by the opposition councilors of indecent behaviour.

There is anger in the Dalit community over the assault on Dalit councilors by the BJP Minister of State and MLC during the board meeting in Meerut Municipal Corporation. Last night, people of Dalit community burnt the effigy of Dr. Somendra Tomar, Minister of State in UP Government, while raising slogans against him.
