Allegation of fraud of Rs 35 thousand in the name of SP, CO, youth appeals for justice

Basti. A surprising case came to light from Basti district of Uttar Pradesh. Where SP and CO were appointed by fraudsters. In the name of a fraud of Rs 35 thousand. The whole matter is of Dalit Ramesh Kumar, resident of Nipania of Lalganj police station area of the district.

In the letter given to the Superintendent of Police, Ramesh Kumar has said that a few days ago, upper caste people had beaten him up and a case has been registered against him. Anand Kumar, son of Rakesh, resident of Chharauchha of Lalganj police station area, is a witness in the case. On December 16, 2023, Anand Kumar and his companions Nihal resident of Sahupar, Ramesh Bharti resident of Dashkolwa came to him and said that SP Sahib had received a call. 35 thousand rupees have to be given to CO sir. Ramesh got misled by those people. And out of the grant amount of Rs 75 thousand received in the account from State Bank of India, Rs 35 thousand were withdrawn.

Anand Kumar and his associates were with him in Bank Dharampur which can be seen in CCTV. After withdrawing the money, he reached the SP office with Anand and his associates and found Anand who had taken Rs 35 thousand. He said that the person to whom the money has to be given is not there, you stand outside and I will return after giving the money to CO Sahib.

Dalit Ramesh Kumar has said in the letter given to the SP that he later came to know that he had become a victim of fraud. He gave a letter to the SP on January 16 and a registered letter on January 17, 2024, demanding action against the fraudsters.

Again, along with giving an application in the public hearing, he also gave an application in the District Magistrate’s office and demanded that after registering a case against the culprits in this case, his 35 thousand rupees should be returned from the fraudsters.
