Noida, Jul 5 (PTI) The police on Monday night arrested an accused of allegedly raping a 12-year-old Dalit teenager who had come to his maternal grandfather’s house in Parthala village under Noida Police Station Sector-113 area of ??Uttar Pradesh. Police produced him in the court today from where he has been sent to 14 days judicial custody. Sector-113 SHO Sharad Kant said that two days ago, along with a 12-year-old Dalit teenager, who had come to stay at his maternal grandfather’s house in Parthala village, the accused named Roshan Kumar took him in the bushes.

Police produced him in the court today from where he has been sent to 14 days judicial custody.
Sector-113 SHO Sharad Kant said that two days ago, along with a 12-year-old Dalit teenager who had come to stay at his maternal grandfather’s house in Parthala village, an accused named Roshan Kumar had allegedly raped him by taking him to the bushes. He told that the accused Roshan is a resident of Jamui in Bihar.
The accused says that a few days ago a relative of the juvenile snatched his mobile phone. He had lodged the report of this matter in the police station, and his relative had also gone to jail.
He said that in order to avenge this, the family members of the juvenile have filed a false case against him.
Police said that the matter is being investigated keeping all the aspects in mind.
