‘Serve only branded tea to CM’ – Congress shares video of officials telling Dalit family

Vijayanagara, Oct 15: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and former chief minister B S Yediyurappa had breakfast at a Dalit household in a village near Hospet on Wednesday. They were on a visit to the village as part of the Jana Sankalpa Yatra that the BJP had commenced.

Now, a video shared by Congress has gone viral. In the video, officials are clearly seen directing the Dalit family to serve only branded tea and packed tea to BJP leaders including Bommai and Yediyurappa.

Basavaraj Bommai and Yediyurappa were accompanied by tourism minister Anand Singh, water resources minister Govind Karjol and other BJP leaders during their visit to the village. The leaders had breakfast at a house in Kamalapura in Vijayanagara district and later the CM’s office shared the pictures and the videos of the event.
