UP: Dalit thrashed by entering house in Unnao, attacked with rod on eye, no arrest even after 6 days

The case of beating of a Dalit man in Unnao, UP is in discussion. Victim youth Vishal Singh alleges that a journalist is also involved in beating him. He says that the accused also broke his eyes. The incident is said to have happened on July 5. Apart from the local police station, Vishal Singh has also complained about this matter to the IG of Lucknow Zone. They allege that the perpetrators have not been arrested yet. A video of Vishal is also viral on social media. In this, he is saying that if the accused are not caught within 24 hours, then they will commit suicide.
In the complaint to IG, Vishal Singh has said that on the night of July 5, Rajesh Bajpai and Gaurav Agnihotri entered his house and beat him up. He claims that during the fight, his eye was attacked with an iron rod, in which his eye was broken.
Vishal alleges that since the registration of the FIR, pressure is being made on behalf of the accused party to reconcile them. Along with this, threats are being made that if there is no reconciliation, they will not be allowed to stay in the locality.
Vishal and accused Rajesh are residents of the same locality. Vishal has also alleged that casteist things are also said for him on behalf of the accused. He has said in the complaint to the IG that he had complained about this matter to the Chief Minister’s Office on July 9. Vishal says that the CMO was assured that the accused would be arrested within 24 hours, but no arrest has been made so far.
In this case, two days old video of the victim youth is also going viral on social media. In this, Vishal is threatening to commit suicide if the accused are not caught.

He tweeted and said that proper action is being taken in the matter.
