Meerut News: For offering prasad in the temple, the bullies gave ‘third degree’ to the Dalit youth, broke his hand and urinated on his face
A sensational case has come to light in Meerut, UP, where the bullies beat up a Dalit youth for offering prasad in the temple, urinated on his face.
Meerut Online Desk. A Dalit youth resident of a village in Jani police station area has made a sensational allegation. The victim says that the bullies brutally beat him for offering prasad in the temple. His hand was broken and urinated on his face. The victim alleges that he went to the local police and complained but his complaint was not heard. When no action was taken, the youth came to the SSP office and narrated his story. The SSP has assured action and ordered an investigation.
The incident is of December 1
The Dalit youth living in Jani police station area met the SSP on Wednesday and informed about the entire incident. In the complaint given to the SSP, the youth said that he works as a mason. On December 1, he had gone to Garhmukteshwar to take a bath in the Ganga. While returning from there, he brought water from Garh Ganga. He had gone to offer Gangajal in the Shiv temple of Kurali village. Then Deepu alias Shiva, Nishant, Akash and some unknown youths also reached there.
This is how he saved his life from the bullies
The youth alleges that these people stopped him on the way and abused him and used casteist words. Along with this, they looted money and mobile. The victim alleged that they beat him with a stick and threw him in the drain. Due to which the bone of his hand broke and he got seriously injured. The victim told that the accused also urinated on his face. Somehow he ran away and saved his life.
The bullies threatened to kill him
The victim says that he had given a complaint letter against the accused in Jani police station and demanded action. But till now the police has not registered a case. The accused also came to know about him going to the police station and complaining, so they also threatened him. The youth alleges that the bullies came to his house and threatened to kill him if he did not withdraw the complaint. The youth alleges that he went to the police station many times but he was scolded and chased away from there. FIR registered against the accused
After the order of SSP, action has been started by registering a case on the basis of the complaint of the victim in Thana Jani. SSP Dr. Vipin Tada says that the matter will be investigated and appropriate action will be taken against the accused. SP Rural has also been ordered to conduct an investigation. SP Rural has also started investigating the case. The local police also came into action and raided the house of the accused.
