Hisar News: Those who attacked Bhatla Dalit Sangharsh Samiti member convicted

Hisar. The special court set up under the Scheduled Castes and Tribes Atrocities Act of Hisar on Friday convicted Laxman Singh and Manoj Singh for attacking Ajay Bhatla, a member of the Bhatla Dalit Sangharsh Samiti. In this regard, Sunita had lodged a complaint at the Bhatla police station on 19 September 2020.

The complainant had told the police that she and her husband Ajay were going to their house in Bhatla village on a bike at 5:30 pm on the day of the incident. Laxman and his son Manoj met on the way near the pond. On blowing the horn, the said people abused them in casteist terms and threatened to kill them by attacking them.
