Women and Dalits will get importance in BJP, big decisions taken in organisation festival
The strategy for organisation election was decided in BJP’s state level meeting in Lucknow. Booth committees will be formed by November 30, Mandal presidents will be elected by December 15 and district presidents by December 30. Emphasis was laid on giving representation to all castes, classes, women and Dalits. Leaders between 45 and 60 years will become district presidents.

Women and Dalits will get importance in BJP, big decisions taken in organisation festival
Deep Singh, Lucknow: There will be a proper balance of all castes and classes in the new organisation of BJP. Women and Dalits will be given special importance. This mantra was given in the state level meeting held in Vishweshwaraiya Auditorium on Wednesday under Sangathan Parv-2024. It was decided in the meeting that all the booth committees will be formed by November 30. After that the election of Mandal and District Presidents will be held.
The process of organization election has started in BJP. The new state president is to be elected by January. First of all, booth committees are being selected. The meeting was called on Wednesday to review the election and further guidelines.
All the officials up to the district level, election officers, co-election officers and front officials attended this meeting held in the presence of National Co-Election Officer Naresh Bansal, State Election Officer Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey, State President Bhupendra Chaudhary, State General Secretary Organization Dharampal Singh.
Elections are to be held at more than 1.62 lakh booths in total. Out of these, committees have been formed at about 50 thousand booths. It was decided in the meeting that the formation of all booth committees should be completed by November 30.
Mandal to be selected by 15 December, District President by 30 December
In the meeting, all election officers and co-election officers were given the target that after the booth committees are formed, the process of selection of Mandal presidents should be started immediately. All Mandal presidents should be selected by 15 December. All district presidents should be elected by 30 December.
After that, Mandal and State committees will be formed. Before that, workshops will be organized at the district level from 28 November to 2 December. BJP’s National General Secretary Vinod Tawde will be the state observer in the organizational elections. One central observer will be appointed for every three districts.
District presidents will be between 45 and 60 years of age
In the meeting, National Co-Election Officer Naresh Bansal said that to create an all-inclusive, all-touching and omnipresent organization, it is necessary that every caste and class should be given a place in it. It was also said in the meeting that the party has a special focus on increasing the participation of women and Dalits. In such a situation, it is important that they are visible in the organization as well.
In the workshop, State Membership Incharge and State General Secretary Govind Narayan Shukla presented the report of Membership Campaign and Active Membership Campaign. State President Bhupendra Chaudhary said that more than 2.5 crore members have been added in the state. Out of this, data of 90% members has been fed. State Election Officer Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey said that the work of formation of strong booth committees is going on. While deciding the election process of Mandal and District on the basis of consensus, the basic idea of ??the organization is to move forward towards the all-encompassing formation. State General Secretary Organization Dharam Pal said that the age of Mandal President should be between 35 to 45 years and the age of District President should be between 45 to 60 years.
