Nawada News: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has called a high-level meeting regarding the Nawada incident. This meeting will be held at 11 am on Ek Ane Marg. The Principal Secretary of the Home Department and other senior officials have been called in it. Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena will also attend this meeting. This meeting has been called in view of the recent incident in Krishna Nagar of Nawada district, where on the night of September 18, some miscreants set fire to several houses of the Dalit settlement.
According to media reports, the miscreants burnt and destroyed 35 houses of people belonging to the Mahadalit caste in Krishna Nagar. The villagers allege that this incident was carried out by Nandu Paswan and his associates. During this, firing and assault also took place. After this attack, an atmosphere of fear and tension prevails in the village. After the incident, the police took active action and arrested 15 people including the main accused Nandu Paswan. Apart from this, after this meeting of the Chief Minister, it is expected that the government will take strict action against the culprits and provide compensation and security to the victim families. The Nawada incident has once again highlighted the problem of caste violence and social inequality in the state.
