Dilip Mishra urinated in a liquor bottle while Satyam and Kishan pinned the boy down and forcibly stuffed the bottle in his mouth. The accused were reportedly upset that the boy’s family had charged them extra money for an audio system installed at their home for a function, police said. “The accused also misbehaved with the minor and thrashed him and one of them even made a video of the entire incident,” said Mahima Nath Upadhyay, in-charge of Gilaula police station. The boy reached home and narrated the entire incident to his elder brother. The next day his parents and brother lodged a police complaint.
The police conducted a preliminary investigation based on eyewitness statements and videos circulated on social media and arrested the accused on Thursday. According to police sources, the accused claimed that the boy and his family used to run DJs in the village and charge a hefty amount. During a function, the victim had switched off the DJ citing lack of fuel in the generator, which further escalated the animosity between them, sources said.
