Dalit community became vocal for Sagar murder case, Dalits surrounded the commissioner’s office

Indore. Recently, three members of a Dalit family were brutally murdered by the so-called goons of the same village in Barodia Nonagir of Khurai assembly of Sagar district. In 2019, goons of Sagar district blocked the way of Anjana Ahirwar, daughter of a Dalit family, and did obscene acts. Anjana Ahirwar’s daughter Anjana Ahirwar went with her brother Nitin Ahirwar and filed an FIR in the police station.
The goons, enraged by the FIR, blocked the way of Anjana’s brother Nitin Ahirwar and threatened him to compromise and killed him by beating him with sticks and rods. The mother who came to save her son was also stripped and beaten. The main witnesses of this murder were Anjana Ahirwar and her uncle Rajendra Ahirwar. The accused asked the victim’s family to compromise in the Nitin murder case.
When Rajendra and Anjana refused, the accused beat Rajendra Ahirwar to death in public on 25 May 2024. Anjana Ahirwar was also an eyewitness to this incident, who was killed under suspicious circumstances. Rajendra Ahirwar’s body was being taken home in an ambulance. The accused threw Anjana Ahirwar out of the ambulance and brutally murdered her. In protest against the murder of three members of the same Dalit family, hundreds of Dalits under the leadership of National President of All India Balai Mahasangh Manoj Parmar gheraoed the Commissioner’s office and sent a memorandum to His Excellency the President.
The memorandum mainly demanded the atrocities being committed on the Dalit community and death penalty to the accused in the murder case, financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh each to the deceased’s dependent family and a CBI inquiry, government job to any one member of the family as well as running the murder case in a fast track court. The memorandum was officially received by Joint Commissioner Shri Sanjay Ji Saraf and police force was present for security purposes. The entire Dalit community was assured of taking strict action. The memorandum was presented mainly by Nirmala Wankhede, Rekha Solanki, Sangeeta Jain, Councilor Pramila Sirsot, Lalita Bordia, Chintu Malviya, Pawan Bhavsar, Sunny Gawli, Rajkumar Malviya, Dinesh Kulpare, Golu Rathore, Mohit Mehta, Santosh Alone, Lakhan Depale, Ritesh Parmar, Rohit Anjana, Gaurav Anjana, Lokesh Malviya, Rajendra Sahu, Dilip Verma, Vikas Pathrod, Uday Rathore, Dharmendra Gurjar, Rikku Soni, Prashant Chauhan, Rishit Malviya, Dinesh Hirve, Laxman Khede, Sachin Kochle, Kanha Bakwale, Prashant Sawaner, Sandeep Raikwar, Yogesh Chauhan, Vishal Sen, Pandit Kamal Sharma, Pandit Rajesh Shastri, Pawan Joshi, Rajesh Sisodia, Radheshyam Parmar, Surendra Gathia, Raj Parmar, Vicky Kayat, Deepak Mahant, Mahendra Sunel, Sachin Sindal, Vishal Sarwan, Satish Sindal, Sachin Mansare and hundreds of others. People from the society were present.
