Barmer Dalit Youth Murder: A big news has come out from Barmer district, which grabbed the most headlines from Rajasthan in the Lok Sabha elections. Here a Dalit youth has died under suspicious circumstances. The dead body of the young man was found lying on the roadside. The family members of the youth allege that miscreants beat him to death. The atmosphere in Barmer has become heated after the murder of Dalit. According to the information received, a sensation spread in the area after the dead body of a Dalit youth was found on Kitanoria road under Dhanau police station of Chauhtan subdivision area of Barmer district. After getting information about the incident, Dhanau police station reached the spot, took possession of the body, called the FSL team on the spot and started investigating the case.

The news of finding the dead body of the young man spread in the surrounding area like today, after which a huge crowd of people gathered at the spot. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, senior police officials have also reached the spot and are gathering information about the entire matter. No report has been given by the relatives of the deceased regarding this matter, but the family members present on the spot are suspecting that the youth was beaten to death by miscreants. According to the information received, there were injuries on the body of the deceased. Traces have also been found.

Injuries on the body, family members said – beaten to death

After receiving information about the body of a young man being found in a suspicious condition on the roadside, Dhanau police station reached the spot, took possession of the body and started investigation. Giving information, Dhanau police station officer Govindram said that information was received about the body of a youth being found in a suspicious condition. After this, after reaching the spot, taking possession of the dead body, the deceased was identified as Jetharam, son of Saluram, resident of Meghwal caste, Kitanoria. The body was taken into custody and kept in the mortuary of Dhanau Government Hospital and investigation was started and FSL team was also called and evidence was being collected.

Senior police officers also reached the spot

After the information about finding the dead body of the youth, the family members of the deceased youth were informed. After this, the family members who reached the spot said that injury marks were found on the body of the deceased youth and expressed the suspicion of murder by thrashing. However, no report has been given by the family regarding this matter. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, senior police officials including Chauhan DSP Kritika Yadav, Barmer Additional Superintendent of Police Jasram Boss have also reached the spot.

Former minister and MLA also arrived, police is giving advice

After the incident, a large number of people from the deceased’s community including his relatives started gathering in front of the mortuary. Many public representatives including former minister and Congress District President Gafoor Ahmed, former MLA Padmaram Meghwal are also reaching the mortuary demanding an impartial investigation and arrest of the accused. In this regard, senior police officials are consulting the family members of the deceased youth and the people of the society.
