A dalit farmer was beaten by a bully who entered his house.

Malihabad, Lucknow. A bully entered the house of a Dalit farmer, kicked and punched him, his wife and daughter-in-law, used caste based abuses and threatened to kill him and then ran away. Dalit farmer Prasadi, resident of Tikrikala village of Mal police station area, has alleged in the report that he was sitting outside the house of Anil Singh of the same village at around 8.30 pm on March 23.

Then Rajendra Singh from the village came and started abusing the Dalit farmer on caste basis. When Rajendra protested, he threatened to kill the victim and ran away. Next day, on March 24, in the morning, Rajendra Singh entered the house of Dalit farmer Prasadi and beat him with kicks and punches. The victim’s wife and daughter-in-law, who came to his rescue, were pushed to the ground. On the complaint of the victim Dalit farmer, the Mall Police has registered a case under serious sections including the SCST Act.
