Main accused arrested

BNP police station of Dewas has registered a case against seven accused under various sections in this matter. Also, three people including the main accused Shubham Rajput involved in the incident have been arrested and the search for other accused is going on.

The accused had taken the victim to the party

BNP police station in-charge Amit Solanki said that Ram Singh, a resident of Chandesara village of Ujjain, had come to Dewas with his friend Shubham Rajput on February 8. Shubham had told the victim youth that it was his friend’s birthday party and then Shubham took the victim youth to the party at the dhaba located on the bypass, Shubham’s friends were present.

Nose rubbed by the victim youth

According to the victim youth Ram Singh, he had an old dispute with Shubham regarding money. Some rupees were outstanding due to land brokerage, due to which there was an argument and then a dispute with Shubham. After this, Shubham’s friends brutally beat the victim youth. Made the victim touch his feet, rub his nose and also made a video of it.

Search for other accused intensified

When the victim youth came to know that the accused also made a video of the incident. He reached Dewas and lodged the report. Police registered a case against seven accused including Shubham. Police said that teams have left to nab the accused and others will be arrested soon.
