Do not separate us from each other by spreading the poison of caste, religion and regionalism among us. About one and a half months ago, a mega rally was taken out in Dumka in support of delisting, in which it was demanded that the Scheduled Tribe people who changed their religion It has been taken that they should be removed from ST reservation category and they should be included in minority category. For this, a meeting was organized at Rasikpur ground in Dumka, in which thousands of people from all over Jharkhand had come. It was led by former MP Kadiya Munda. Dumka’s BJP MP Sunil Soren also participated in this program. In the delisting Maharally, everyone in one voice demanded from the Central Government that it should bring such a law that the converted person should not get the benefit of ST reservation. They should be removed from the list of ST reservation.
In response to the delisting Maharally, thousands of people of Santhal community took out a Tribal Unity Maharally under the banner of Adivasi Ekta Manch on Sunday. This mega rally started from Gandhi Maidan of the city and reached Gandhi Maidan again via Ambedkar Chowk and Main Road and turned into a public meeting. A large number of women, men, youth and elderly participated in this rally. Everyone said in one voice that stop dividing the tribals in the name of religion. First we are tribals, second comes our religion. First is our soil, then is there any party.
Wake up all the tribals. The identity of all of us tribals is that we are Indians only. There is only one call of the people, we are all tribals, one as many slogans were raised. In this regard, Dr. Sushil Marandi, convener of Tribal Unity Maharally, said that since 2014, people are being divided in the name of caste and religion in the entire country. The matter has worsened before the 2024 elections. He said that we all tribals are one. Efforts are being made to divide us in the name of religion, caste and society. We strongly oppose this through this Maharally.
