IPATHCON 2023: A Landmark Conference on Transgender Healthcare

New Delhi, India – The Association for Transgender Health in India (ATHI), in collaboration with the International Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and NNTP, is proud to announce the fourth international conference on Transgender Healthcare, IPATHCON 2023. This groundbreaking event will take place from November 26th to November 30th, 2023, in New Delhi, India, with a primary focus on “Addressing felt need for training and capacity building of care providers.”
This is the first time in India that the foundation and advanced Gender Affirmative Care Workshop in Transgender Health is organized by the IIHMR New Delhi and AIIMS New Delhi. The courses will be conducted by certified international faculty & and professionals in Transgender Health from the Global Education Institute (GEI) of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) and the University of Colorado, USA. They will be assisted by domain experts from the Indian Professional Association for Transgender Health (IPATH), the professional arm of ATHI.
The participants for the IPATHCON 2023 are from Medicine (Medical, Nursing, and Para-medical), Public Health, Social Sciences, Education & and from transgender community cadre.
The IPATHCON 2023 will bring together leading experts from India and around the world to discuss the latest advances in transgender healthcare. The conference will also provide a platform for healthcare providers to share their experiences and best practices.
The conference is expected to attract over 500 participants from India and abroad. The participants will include healthcare providers, policymakers, researchers, and advocates.
The IPATHCON 2023 is a significant step forward in improving transgender healthcare in India. The conference will help to raise awareness of the needs of transgender people and to provide healthcare providers with the training and resources they need to provide quality care.
