Moradabad Dalit woman gangraped on the strength of pistol, case against four

Uttar Pradesh News Desk Dalit woman was gang-raped by four people at gunpoint after keeping her hostage for seven hours. Later, two accused reached Moradabad with him and made a false complaint against some people. The victim complained to the Kundarki police, but there was no hearing. Later appealed to SSP. On the orders of the SSP, an FIR has been registered against the four named accused and a search has been started for them.

On the complaint of a Dalit woman resident of Kundarki police station area, the police have registered a case against Bablu Saini, Tayyab, Harkishore Saini and Birbal under other serious sections including gangrape, threatening. According to the woman, she had a fight with her husband on May 18, after which she got angry and went to Chowkidar Veer Singh, a resident of Milak, Bahapur.

According to the woman, the watchman left her at home saying that she was on duty. At around two o’clock in the afternoon, Bablu of the village came to the watchman’s house and left after questioning the victim woman. It is alleged that the same night at around 8.15 pm, the accused Bablu reached the watchman’s house taking Tayyab, Harkishore and Birbal along with him. From there, all four took the woman along with her after asking her to take her home and kept her hostage in Birbal’s hut. During this, Harkishore and Birbal raped.

According to the victim, the next day on May 19, accused Bablu and Harkishore took her on a bike and reached Moradabad SSP office. There, the accused gave a complaint letter to the SSP on three people including the woman’s husband. Later took him back and kept him in the hut. From where somehow the woman reached her brother-in-law’s place in Mohanpur Takhtpur and narrated her ordeal. SHO Kundarki Sunil Kumar told that the matter is being investigated.
