Sambhal: Carpenter refused to make bier for Dalit woman, police called from another village, then cremation took place

It is alleged that any carpenter refused to come. Fury spread among the villagers about this and they informed the police. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot. Where the villagers were pacified by persuasion, after which a carpenter was called from another village and the bier was prepared and the last rites were performed. There was an atmosphere of chaos for a long time.
Died after illness
Indresh Devi, wife of village Babu Kheda resident Dharampal Singh, died on Saturday night due to illness, whose last rites were to be performed on Sunday. Subhash, the brother-in-law of the deceased, told that till now the carpenters of the village used to prepare the bier for the last rites from bamboo. In such a situation, on Sunday, he went to the carpenters living in the village to get the bier made, but in turn, all of them refused to make the bier, making excuses. Even after a long struggle, no carpenter was ready to make the bier, due to which resentment against the carpenters started spreading among the people of Dalit society.
Village head got information and police reached the spot
Meanwhile, on getting information about the matter, Pradhan Salim also reached the spot. Where someone informed the police, the station in-charge Inspector Rakesh Kumar also reached the spot along with the police force and explained to the people. The villagers called a carpenter from the neighboring village Dhakiya and got the bier ready and after that the last rites of the woman were performed.
Made the matter calm by convincing people
The people of the Dalit community had informed the police about the carpenter not making the bier. As soon as the information was received, the police went to the spot and pacified the villagers by convincing them. Tahrir has not been received yet.
