Hyderabad: Three persons were sentenced to life by a court on Tuesday for the murder of a Dalit man at Kattakommugudem village in Suryapet district.
A special court for SC/ST cases in Nalgonda conducted the trial. Sheikh Dastagiri, K Venkataratnam, and K Renuka, killed K Gopi suspecting him of having an affair with Dastagiri’s wife. They ran over Gopi with a tractor, attempting to make it appear as an accident. However, police determined the death to be homicidal and arrested the three accused. TNN
