Today is the foundation day of 13 states and territories. PM Modi and Rahul Gandhi greeted the people on X platform. PM wished progress of Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala and Karnataka by highlighting their cultural and historical importance.

New Delhi: Today is a very special and memorable day in the country. Today is the foundation day of not 1,2,3,4,5,6 but 13 states and union territories together. PM Modi and opposition leader Rahul Gandhi congratulated and wished the people of the respective states by tweeting on X platform.

Rahul’s tweet on Foundation Day

Rahul Gandhi wrote in the tweet, congratulations to the people of Andhra Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar, Chhattisgarh, Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep on their Foundation Day today. These vibrant cultures, diverse languages, rich history and enduring traditions are the core of India’s strength and give our nation its resilience.

Rahul further wrote that let us celebrate and protect this unity. The Congress leader wrote that recognizing that the unique contribution of each state enriches and strengthens the bonds that hold us together.

PM Modi’s message

The PM wrote that my heartfelt wishes to all the people of Chhattisgarh on the foundation day of the state. I wish that this state, adorned with a wonderful confluence of glorious folk tradition and tribal culture, continues to move rapidly on the path of development.

Referring to Haryana, the PM wrote that our Haryana, famous for its rich historical heritage, has always made an important contribution to the development of the country. On the foundation day of the state, along with extending my heartfelt congratulations to all my brothers and sisters who are a part of the progress here, I wish them happiness, prosperity and good health.

The PM also mentioned Madhya Pradesh

PM Modi wrote in the tweet, “Best wishes to all the residents of Madhya Pradesh on the foundation day of the state. I wish that this state, rich in natural wealth and cultural heritage, continues to set new standards of development in every field.” PM Modi also gave a message to the southern states. The PM wrote, “Best wishes for Kerala Piravi! The state of Kerala is known for its enchanting landscapes, vibrant traditions and hardworking people.”

Kannada Rajyotsava is a special occasion

He said, the people of Kerala have made their mark all over the world in various fields. May the people of the state continue to progress in the times to come. The PM further wrote that Kannada Rajyotsava is a very special occasion, which recognizes the exemplary culture and traditions of Karnataka. This state is blessed with excellent people, who are promoting development and innovation in all fields. May the people of Karnataka always be blessed with happiness and success.
